Fort Gibson: March 10. Elevation is 1.5 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 55°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and main lake. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jerk baits, lipless baits, and minnows around coves, docks, and rocks. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad around channels, main lake, and points. Comments: Crappie can be hit or miss right now. Fish are still holding around 14-16 ft., but they are moving closer to the shoreline. White bass seem to be pre-staging for their spawning run in the main lake. White bass and hybrids are being caught well at times below the dam on bucktail jigs. Black bass are picking up with a lot of fish being caught on jerk baits right now near structure and drop-offs.
