Operation: Feed Our Students

Owasso Public Schools has announced they will have a work stoppage for an additional week beginning Monday and running through Friday, April 13.
Owasso Community Resources will be providing meal kits for students from 11 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday at the 6th Grade Center on 129th East. Ave. and from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday and Thursdays.
These students rely on school lunches for their primary meal. In consultation with school officials we revised our plan and will have a central distribution point.
We are seeking donations to supplement these meal kits. If anyone would like to donate any of the following, we suggest bringing them to the 6th Grade Center between 11 am and 1 pm Monday through Friday and the items will be distributed to those who come seeking help.
We appreciate everyone who has volunteered and has a desire to volunteer. We will need a limited number of volunteers during the week. You can sign up for one hour slots at:
We will be putting together these items into snacks for distribution in addition to the meal kits.
Pudding Cups (non-refrigerated)
String Cheese
Small Peanut Butter jars
Pretzels or gold fish crackers (small bags for lunch)
Fruit snacks or fruit roll-ups
Fruit bars
Fruit cups/applesauce cups
Granola bars individually packaged
Cheese or Peanut butter snack crackers
Potato Chips (small bags for lunches)
