Collinsville HRC to Host Holiday Home Tour
The Collinsville Home Representatives Club is excited to announce the 2016 Holiday Tour of Homes featuring four of Collinsville’s most festive homes all dolled up for the season. Each house features several rooms decked in their holiday finery! Proceeds go to the Club’s educational scholarships and civic programs.
“We were talking earlier this year on fundraising ideas,” said club member Shelley Nachtigall. “Discussion turned to how popular home tours are and we decided to revive Collinsville’s.”
In addition to Christmas decorations, several of the homes will feature items for sale in local shops. The event takes place Sat., Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to make a day of it and visit the shops and restaurants on Main Street. Advanced tickets are $15 and are available at the Collisville Family Pharmacy, Herb Weaver State Farm Insurance Agency and Double Darlin Designs. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event at one of the homes included in the tour.
