NSUBA to host ‘Run Home to Paradise’ 5K, movie on the lawn – Sept. 29

(Broken Arrow, Oklahoma) — Northeastern State University-Broken Arrow will celebrate homecoming Sept. 29 with the RiverHawk Run, a 5K race and one-mile fun run, followed by a movie on the lawn featuring “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

The theme for this year’s RiverHawk Run is “Run Home to Paradise.” The one-mile fun run is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.; the 5K race will follow at 6 p.m.

To register to run, visit nsualumni.com/riverhawkrun. Early registration is $20. The fee will increase to $25 on Sept. 1. All net proceeds will support NSUBA student scholarships. 

After the race, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” will begin at 8 p.m. on the Clock Tower Courtyard. The movie is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the food pantry. Free movie snacks and beverages will be available. Food trucks will also be on campus with refreshments for purchase.
