One Injured in Okmulgee County Accident

ohpThe Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that a personal injury collision occurred on U.S. Highway 75 southbound approximately one-quarter of a mile south of 231st Street South, approximately six miles north of Beggs, OK in Okmulgee County.

A  2007 Chevy Truck, driven by Brandi Marie Roland age 36, of McAlester was southbound on Highway 75 when she struck a 1983 Chevy Truck, driven by Ricky Calvin Herron  58, of Collinsville, OK. from behind. Roland then departed the roadway to the right striking a pipe fence, coming to rest. Neither reported injuries.

Roland’s passenger April Dawn Briggs , age 36, of McAlester, OK was transported by Okmulgee County EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa,  where she was admitted in serious condition with a head injury.
