Patsy Ann Holmes of Collinsville, OK was born on September 26, 1937 in Oklahoma City to Chester L. and Thelma M. Coshow. She died April 16, 2017 in Collinsville. She was 79.

A lifelong resident of Collinsville, she also spent several years in Venezuela growing up, graduated from San Marcus, TX, and attended TU. She lived in Holland, Japan, and India. She also traveled to Italy and Korea and all over the United States.

She was an avid photographer, and was editor of the Collinsville Chronicle newspaper for several years. She worked at Dillard’s and Kohl’s for several years, and spent many years working on her genealogy. She loved her family, grandkids, and Shih Tzu puppies. She lived life to the fullest.

Patsy is survived by her children, Daena Miller of Broken Arrow, Lisa Jones and husband Jeff of Collinsville, and Kevin Holmes and wife Terri of Tulsa; her brother, Steve Coshow and wife Jan of Las Vegas, NV; 8 grandchildren, Misty McCoy, Derek Woodson, Josh Pollard, Tyler Oslin, Alissa Jones, Jackson Jones, Jeremy Holmes, and Christina Holmes; 6 great grandchildren, Wyatt Woodson, Bentley Brown, Paisley Oslin, Trevyn Oslin, Jayme Pollard, and Hayden Pollard; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Leroy Holmes; one son, Alan Holmes; two grandchildren, Jayme Pollard and Trevor Jones.

 Visitation for Patsy will be from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive guests from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Tim Odom officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
