To complete your Christmas decorating, the Owasso Tree and Berry Farm have fresh ornamental wreaths measuring from 12 to 36 inches diameter, swags and mantle pieces. We also have heavy garland and roping for any of your last minute Christmas decorating needs.
Enjoy the Christmas experience, after choosing and cutting your special tree, take a hayride back to the Gift Shop. Inside we offer hot apple cider to warm you up while you browse through our beautiful Christmas ornaments and items.
Owasso Christmas Tree and Berry Farm was started from bare land 37+ years ago. When we started, not knowing how many trees we could sell, we only planted 500+ trees. Each year for the next 6+ years, we increased our plantings up to 3,000 trees per year. It is a 5-6 year cycle of planting and growing. When the first years of our planting cycle come around, we just did not have as many trees to sell as our later years of planting. We cannot go in and increase our field sizes from the early planting because all of our fields are adjacent to one another. We have added 300+ here and there, but it just does not add up to our larger fields. 2019 will be one of our years in which our farm trees will be in short supply (between 800-1,000 trees). In 2020 we will be back to our 2000+ years. We continue to work (manage) all aspects of our tree farm: fertilization, control of diseases, insects, and weeds. We irrigate all of our trees when necessary. From this, we strive to produce a high quality, healthy tree for our customers. On years we are short of our farm trees, we will have additional fresh, pre-cut, fir trees so everyone may have a real Christmas tree.
