the jointCountry sensation Lee Brice is known for being a craftsman with a meteoric rise in the country music world. He’s bringing his talents to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on May 30 to benefit Folds of Honor Foundation.
A limited number of tickets are available starting at $35 and are now on sale. All proceeds go to Folds of Honor Foundation.
Folds of Honor Foundation is a nonprofit organization based out of Owasso, Oklahoma, whose mission is to provide educational support to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled soldiers. Their statistics show of the one million-plus dependents adversely affected by deployments, nearly nine out of 10 do not qualify for federal scholarship assistance. Since 2007, Folds of Honor has carried forth this singular, noble mission.
“We couldn’t be more honored to have fellow patriot Lee Brice as the entertainment for our annual Memorial Day Freedom Concert. His sincerity towards our military families is in direct alignment with our mission. Honor Their Sacrifice, Educate Their Legacy,” said Folds of Honor Director of Marketing Maria Stevenson.
The benefit concert will feature the work of Brice, who debuted in 2009 with the album “Love Like Crazy.” The title track reached No. 3 on the Billboard Country chart and set a record as the longest-charting song in its history.
Other hits include 2013’s CMA Song of the Year and 2014’s ACM Song of the Year “I Drive Your Truck,” “More Than A Memory” and “I Don’t Dance,” which holds Single of the Year in both the artist and producer categories from the 2015 ACM Awards.
Opening for the country star is Oklahoma native Corey Kent White who appeared on NBC’s “The Voice” in 2015. White recently released his first EP called Making Noise. He will be performing a 20 minute acoustic set.
This is the fourth concert at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa benefitting Folds of Honor Foundation. The show first started in 2011 and has featured Darius Rucker, Rascal Flats and Dierks Bentley.
